DENON S302 DVD Home Theater System
A few years ago I finally had enough of our aging collection of cables and makeshift speakers, all apparently in aid of giving us surround sound and better sound in general from our equally as ancient television and stereo. My husband set out on his mission to find the ultimate home theatre system, bringing home varied ones and then returning them as he was not totally convinced. We had the time to try out the Denon S302 DVD Home Theater System which looks like a good solid system, about two years ago. It does have some good features, but that is where it stops.

I felt it was only fair to give a review on the Denon S302 DVD Home Theater System to let everyone know the pros and the cons. I cannot decide for you, but here is what I found. Firstly, we did get it mainly because our son wanted something to hook his iPod into and according to the words on the box, DENON S302 DVD Home Theater System was perfect for this, providing exceptional sound. The price tag made me wary at over $1600 US.
DENON S302 DVD Home Theater System was supposed to replace all previous systems, adding in more wattage for its speakers and subwoofer. However, fifty watts for the one and one hundred for the other seemed a tad low. It claimed to be easy to hook up to our other products with an Ethernet cable, or we could use the built-in wireless system, which seemed a good choice at the time.

We were very excited as we could now get Internet radio, play videos from our computers and even enjoy a selection of radio stations through the tuner. After installing some software that we had to pay extra for to enable us to use our PC, we found that there were insufficient connections at the back of the system, so it was hard to hook up everything at once. Even the wireless connections were less than adequate.
The Denon S302 DVD Home Theater System is a good starter system, but frankly not for us. I only told someone the other day that out of the top five systems, I could only give it a four. However, you should test for yourself and see if DENON S302 DVD Home Theater System is really for you!
